For removal procedures on specific models, follow these steps accordingly. First, relieve the fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the air intake duct by loosening the hose clamps and detaching the accelerator cable from the throttle lever. If applicable, disconnect the throttle valve cable for vehicles with automatic transmissions. Label and detach all vacuum and coolant hoses from the throttle body, plugging coolant hoses to prevent leakage.
