Remove the filter. Inspect the pan, filter, and fluid. Clean the pan and remove old gasket. Install a new filter and gasket. Apply sealant to the pan and reinsert the filler tube. Reattach the pan. Lower the vehicle, add fluid, and run the engine. Move the gear selector through each range. Check the fluid level and add more if needed. Check for leaks and the fluid level when hot.
