For the removal of the clutch slave cylinder, start by disconnecting the negative cable from the battery. Raise the vehicle and securely support it on jack stands. To disconnect the hydraulic line, unscrew the threaded fitting from the slave cylinder, using a flare-nut wrench if available to prevent rounding off the fitting. Be prepared with a small can and rags as some fluid may spill during line removal. Remove the mounting bolts and separate the slave cylinder from the transaxle. To install the slave cylinder, connect the hydraulic line to the cylinder and install it on the clutch housing, ensuring the pushrod is properly seated in the release fork pocket. Tighten the bolts to the specified torque. Tighten the hydraulic line threaded fitting securely. Fill the clutch master cylinder with brake fluid and proceed to bleed the system. Lower the vehicle and reconnect the negative battery cable. For the removal of the accumulator, begin by disconnecting the negative cable from the battery. Raise the vehicle and securely support it on jack stands. If there is cruise control, remove the cruise control actuator mounting bolts and position the assembly aside. Remove the battery and battery tray, followed by the starter. Unscrew the hydraulic line fittings from the accumulator and then remove the mounting bolts from the accumulator bracket. To install the accumulator, connect the hydraulic lines, but do not fully tighten them yet. Install the accumulator mounting bolts and tighten them to the specified torque. Finally, tighten the hydraulic line fittings securely. The remaining steps involve reversing the removal procedure.
