About Toyota Pickup

The Toyota Pickup is a general name of a series of compact Toyota trucks offered in the U.S. auto market from late 1975 until 1995. Economical and reliability is what made Toyota the truck company they are today. With the Pickup, Toyota infused durability into the equation. Through intelligent engineering and design, Toyota created their version of a pick-up. All Toyota pickup trucks underwent a suspension overhaul in 1986 for improved stability, handling, and on-road comfort. It was able to do all the jobs the consumers needed the truck to do while still having economical and reliable Pickup body parts. 1987 saw trucks sold with a new optional 3.0 L V6 engine, which created less cab noise. The second generation of pickups, released in 1989 and produced until 1994, had most models switch to a four-door configuration. Toyota later released different Toyota Pickup auto parts options such as larger engines and increased bed length sizes to accommodate to different jobs.
