How to replace the air filter in a Toyota Tundra and Toyota Sequoia?

Never drive without an air filter as it can cause engine wear or even a fire. Replace the air filter at specified intervals and inspect the filler between changes. For 2010 and earlier models with 1GR-FE V6 engines, the air filter is on the right side of the intake manifold plenum. Open the retaining clips to remove the filter, clean the housing, and replace if dirty. For 2011 and later models, the filter is in the right front corner of the engine compartment. Remove the cover screws, detach hoses, clean the housing, and replace the filter if dirty. For V8 engines, follow the same process. Ensure the new filter is properly seated in the housing.
