How do you replace the steering gear boot?

To replace the Rack and Pinion Boot, start by loosening lug nuts and raising the vehicle on jack stands. Remove the wheel, tie-rod end, and jam nut. Take off the Rack and Pinion Boot clamps and slide the boot off. Wrap tape around the steering rod's threads and serrations. Slide the new boot onto the steering gear, ensuring it fits in the groove on the steering rod, and install new clamps. Remove the tape and install the Tie Rod End. Finally, lower the vehicle, install the wheel, and tighten the lug nuts.
