How to Remove and Install the Instrument Cluster for the 1997 Toyota T100?

First, disconnect the negative battery, and turn off the antitheft system if your car has it. First, switch off your airbag system, and take out the steering wheel, steering column trim, all dashboard trim panels, and other components. Start by removing the heater and air conditioning buttons, then detach the instrument display and radio both. Mark and disconnect every electrical connection, then put notes next to them for easy reinstallation later on. Take out the glove box support panel and all air duct connections. Also get rid of parts number 1, heater-to-part number 1 duct, heater-to-part number 2 duct, the glove compartment door structure, and braces number 1 and number 2. Loosen and take out all instrument panel fasteners and clips; remove the support screws; then remove the panel. Installation is the reverse of removal.
