How to remove and install a headlight assembly for the 2003 Toyota Tacoma?

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, ensuring that the lockout feature of the anti-theft audio system is turned off if applicable. Unplug the electrical connector from the headlight bulb. Remove the side marker light. If the radiator grille includes the headlight trim, remove the grille; if not, remove the trim piece below the headlights. Remove the headlight housing retaining nuts and bolts by detaching the nuts on the side and the bolts on the front of the housing, then pull out the assembly. Installation is the reverse of removal, and check and adjust the headlights afterward.
