How to remove the Air Filter Box on a 1997 through 2001 Toyota Avalon?

To remove the air filter box, first, detach the clips and lift up the air cleaner cover to remove the filter element. If you have a V6 model, disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector. Then, disconnect the air intake hose from the cover and remove the three bolts to take out the air filter box from the engine compartment. To install, simply reverse the steps taken during removal.
