Assist someone to make sure the throttle pedal is floored while ascertaining that the shuttle throttle cable linkage is opening all the way. If the linkage does not open thoroughly, tell your assistant to keep pressing the pedal while turning the adjusting nuts counterclockwise and adjusting the cable to ensure a mark or stopper is a specified distance from the boot end. After setting it, fasten all the tightening nuts and ensure that the new clearance is set and that the linkage must open when the throttle is operated.
