The receiver/drier should be replaced whenever the condenser is replaced. First, have the refrigerant discharged by an air conditioning technician. Next, remove the engine covers, followed by the air cleaner assembly and air inlet duct. Then, remove the front bumper and the radiator support. After that, take out the hood lock support mounting fasteners and support. Disconnect the inlet and outlet fittings, ensuring to cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture and dirt out of the system. Remove the mounting nuts/bolts for the condenser's upper and lower mounting brackets, then pull the condenser up and out of the vehicle. Install the condenser, brackets, and bolts, ensuring the rubber cushions fit on the mounting points properly. Reconnect the refrigerant lines, using new O-rings where needed, and reinstall the remaining parts in the reverse order of removal. Finally, have the system evacuated, charged, and leak tested by the shop that discharged it.
