Q: How do you remove the instrument cluster on Toyota Camry and 2007 through 2015 Toyota Avalon?
A: On Avalon models, there are two separate instrument clusters under one instrument cluster trim panel; both are removed the same way. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the steering column covers and the instrument cluster trim panel. Remove the cluster mounting screws and pull the instrument cluster towards the steering wheel. Disconnect any electrical connectors that would interfere with removal. Cover the steering column with a cloth to protect the trim covers, then remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
