Lift the wiper arm assembly off of the glass surface and then flip up tab to release the windshield wiper frame assembly from wiper arm. Squeeze the end of the windshield wiper element out of its frame. Inserted into either end of a new element without slits is this frame's end. At last work the rubber along blade frame slot until cutouts catch on the wiper frame claw.
