A: To remove the Trailing Arm, raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jack stands. If removing a number two Trailing Arm, mark the toe adjuster cam's relationship to the inner mounting bracket. Pry the plastic cover off the subframe with a screwdriver to access the Trailing Arm inner mounting nuts, and remove the inner mounting bolt and nut while supporting the arm. Finally, remove the Trailing Arm from the vehicle. To install, position the arm with the slits in the bushings facing the rear, ensuring proper markings. Install the inner mounting bolt finger tight, insert the arm-to-axle carrier bolt, and tighten the nut hand tight. Connect the strut rod, raise the axle carrier, and align the match marks if applicable. Tighten all bolts and nuts, install the wheel, lower the vehicle, and have the alignment checked.
