Remove the steering wheel. The steering column covers are secured by two screws located just behind the steering wheel and pressure clips on the sides; with the steering wheel removed, the screws can be accessed. Tilt the steering column to its highest point, then release the claw-type fasteners on each side of the covers. Additionally, release the three claw-type fasteners, four clips, and two pins from the upper steering column cover to detach it. The rear part of the upper cover is hooked into the lower cover, so guide the hooked end out of the lower cover while removing the upper cover. Installation is the reverse of removal.
