To inspect the brake disc, loosen lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and remove the wheel. Secure the disc with lug nuts. Remove the
Brake Caliper and brake line. Remove brake pads for a rear disc. Check the disc for damage and measure disc runout with a dial indicator. If runout is high, refinish the disc. Measure disc thickness with a micrometer to ensure it meets specifications. To remove the disc, remove the caliper, bracket, lug nuts, and pull off the disc. For stubborn rear discs, adjust the star wheel or use hub bolts. Reinstall in reverse order, tightening all fasteners and lug nuts.
