To remove the radio from Solara models, first disconnect the negative battery cable, then remove the center dashboard trim bezel, unscrew the retaining screws, pull the radio outward to access the backside, and disconnect the electrical connectors and antenna lead. For installation, follow the reverse process. For door speaker removal, take off the door trim panel, remove the speaker retaining screws, disconnect the electrical connector, and take the speaker out of the vehicle, with installation being the reverse of removal. To remove the rear package shelf speaker, remove the clips holding the shelf in place to access the speaker screws, unscrew the retaining screws, disconnect the electrical connector from inside the trunk, and remove the speaker. Installation is again the reverse of removal. For tweeter removal, if equipped, pry under the edge of the tweeter with a screwdriver tip covered with tape, pull it out, and disconnect the electrical connector, with installation being the reverse of removal.
