Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Block the front wheels. Disconnect the strut rod from the axle carrier. To disconnect the strut rod from the rear axle carrier, remove the boll indicated by the lower arrow; to disconnect the suspension arms from the carrier, remove the nut and long through-bolt. Remove the exhaust center section. Remove the suspension arm-to-rear axle carrier bolt and nut. To disconnect the strut rod from the rear axle carrier, remove the boll indicated by the lower arrow; to disconnect the suspension arms from the carrier, remove the nut and long through-bolt. Remove the suspension arm-to-suspension member lower support nut and bolt. To disconnect the inner ends of the suspension arms from the suspension member lower support, remove these nuts and drive out the bolts. Remove the No. 2 (rear) suspension arm. Remove the left and right stabilizer bar bushing retainers. Remove the bushing retainer bolts from both the left and right retainers. Remove the exhaust center pipe and tail pipe. Remove the No. 1 (front) suspension arm. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to tighten all fasteners to the torque. Install the wheel and lugnuts, then lower the vehicle to the ground. Tighten the wheel lug nuts to the torque. Have the rear wheel alignment checked by a dealer service department or an alignment shop.
