Lift the vehicle, place jackstands to support it, then take out the front wheel. Take off the side marker lights and disconnect any lights that stand in the way of taking off the fenders. You need to take off the
Grille if it's connected to headlamps; otherwise, pull out the trim piece under the headlights. Separate the fender's wheel housing splash shield by first removing its various screws and clips that connect the shield between the frame and the fender. Pay attention to how these components differ from model to model. Take out all the bolts along the top of the fender. Open the door and unscrew two bolts - one above near the fender's back corner, and the other below near the wheel well. Lift out the fender while someone holds both ends to stop it from hitting your car's other panels. Before replacing the fender, take off the plastic moldings around the wheel opening. This moldings attach with six screws and a clip that you need to remove. A secure installation is done backward from taking it apart, while making sure all screws and bolts are tight enough.
