Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, blocking the rear wheels to prevent rolling, and place the transmission in Neutral with the parking brake off. Remove the driveaxles. Carefully pry out the side gear shaft wheel seal using a seal removal tool or a large screwdriver, ensuring not to scratch the seal bore. Install the new wheel seal using a seal installer or a large deep socket as a drift, driving it into the bore squarely and ensuring it is completely seated. Lubricate the lip of the new seal with multi-purpose grease, then install the driveaxles, taking care not to damage the lip of the new seal. Refill the front
Differential with the proper lubricant.
