How to remove the Air Filter Box on a Toyota Yaris?

To remove the Air Filter Box, release the spring clip and detach the crankcase breather hose. Disconnect the wiring plug from the airflow sensor and unclip the canister purge valve. Loosen the large hose clips securing the air inlet duct and remove it. Release the spring clips at the front of the Air Filter Box top cover and lift it away with the airflow sensor. Remove the air filter element and note its position. The lower half of the Air Filter Box is secured by bolts inside the housing and on the inner guard. Remove these bolts and lift out the Air Filter Box. To refit, reverse the steps and ensure a secure Air Filter Box duct.
