If the hood has to be removed, open it and by placing it on the stay, draw around the position of the hinge using a marker pen or paint. Locate and take off the connector of the driver side's windscreen washer fluid hose, this will lead to some amount of fluid dripping. With help, supporting the hood, unscrew the four bolts, holding the hood to the hinges, then remove the hood. For refitting the hood, suitably align the marks on the hood, which were made earlier with the hinges of the hood, refit the same and torque the securing bolts. Insert back the washer hose making sure it is well secured to the connector and check on the hood setting. Shut the hood and ensure there is equal space between the hood and the guard panels, touching the outer body panels. The hood should shut conveniently and affirmatively with minor force; if not, alteration is needed. When it is necessary to change the alignment, turn the securing bolts and shift the hood with the help of the bolts and holes in the hinges which are extended. For adjusting the body front panel, by unscrewing or screwing the spindly type of adjustable bump stops in or out.
