High beam bulbs are the inner bulbs of the headlight whereas the low-beam bulbs are the outer ones. First of all, squeeze the release tab and then remove the electrical connection of the high-beam headlight bulb. Next, release the tab in order to transform the electrical connector from the low-beam headlight bulb socket. As for the bulb socket if you want to pull it out of the headlight housing twist it anti-clockwise and then pull it out. One must not touch the bulb with bare hand; if one does, then it should be cleaned with rubbing alcohol because skin oils can cause bulb to heat up and stop working. When placing the bulb, make sure three lug terminals on the bottom of the bulb base match the similar shaped slots in the headlight housing then put the contacts in the socket and twist it as far as it is possible. It should also be noted that the process of installation is quite the opposite of the tapping technique used during the removal process.

Headlights on all these models are of the sealed beam type, so follow the replacement procedure for these bulbs. In the case of many lights, the lens is usually fixed using screws; to replace the bulbs, one has to remove the lens retainer screws; pull on the lens to disconnect it and twist the bulb in a counter-clockwise direction. Enclosures of some light assemblies share lenses installed in clips, and the clip can be unsnapped or pried off with a small screwdriver. Some bulbs can be pulled out and unscrewed in the opposite direction to install another one while the ones in the instrument cluster need the bulb holder to be twisted anti-clockwise and pulled for removal. The other bulbs are fitted on holders that are released by applying pressure in on the scaling button and turning it in anti-clockwise direction and pulling it out. Furthermore, some segments can be removed by unclipping it from such terminals or even pulling it out from the socket. To perform the procedure of checking the instrument cluster illumination lights, the instrument cluster must be pulled out.

To change the headlight bulb, the first thing is to locate the headlight bulb behind the assembly and pull out the electrical plug. Subsequent to this, unscrew the small black rubber cap which is over the headlight bulb and then use the small amount of force to pull on the spring which retains the headlight bulb to pull it out. Without coming in contact with bare fingers, place the new bulb assembly in the headlight housing and snap-in the claw spring. Next, there is rubber cover which should be installed with the tab of the 'Top Pull' directed upwards and the electrical connector must then be plugged in.

To delete the turn signals and the fog lights, first you need to detach the radiator grille. For turn signal replacement, unscrew the lens retention screws, and gently pry the lens housing off the vehicle body, then twist the bushing of the bulb holder and remove it to change the bulb. Fog lights are as follows by unscrewing the retaining screws on the frame that are holding the housing to the vehicle and then pulling the housing out and unplugging the electrical connector from the back. For front side marker lights, unscrew the corresponding screws, then twist the lens and take it off; after that, insert a bulb and take it out. The rear side marker and rear turn signal lights can be replaced from the interior of the luggage compartment: the storage compartment cover should be dismantled and an inside panel should be gratuitously disconnected to expose the bulb holders. Twist the holder anti-clockwise to unlock it from the side marker assembly and then pull the bulb straight up. On the left side, localized behind the tool/jack storage compartment, that is accessible by removing the said compartment, there shall be the bulb holder. In the case of the dome light, take off the translucent plastic piece with an initiative of a screwdriver and pull the bulb out. They state that to delete an instrument panel bulb, the person has to use a screw-driver and unfasten the instrument cluster, then by rotating it anti-clockwise one has to pull the specific bulb carrier from the printed circuit board. One can open the liftgate to reach the rear combination light: there is a panel that covers the back side of the assembly, and it can be unplugged on a tab; the burnt out bulb will need to be removed and replaced. The location for the license plate light is as follows; first, strip off the covering panel to expose the bulb holder after that you rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise to provide clearance before pulling the bulb out. Removing the lights is the process of uninstalling them and, after that, check the luminosity of the acquired lights.

The inner headlight bulbs are the high-beam bulbs and the outer bulbs are the low-beam bulbs.

Reach behind the headlight assembly and rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise to remove the bulb.

Remove the instrument cluster and rotate the bulb counterclockwise to remove it.

For installation, plug in the electrical connector that was disconnected earlier to complete the installation of the headlight bulb.

Plug in the electrical connector and insert the new bulb assembly into the headlight housing, twisting it clockwise to lock it in place.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

Open the hood and reach behind the headlight assembly to unplug the electrical connector by depressing the clip on the harness connector.

Carefully pry it off using a trim removal tool.

Always check the bulb contacts and holder to ensure there is clean metal-to-metal contact between the bulb and its live(s) and earth. Clean off any corrosion or dirt before fitting a new bulb.

When installing the new bulb, make sure that the three lugs on the mounting base of the bulb socket are aligned with their corresponding cutouts in the headlight housing. Then, insert the bulb socket into the housing and turn it clockwise until it stops.

Refitting is a reversal of removal.

Detach the bulb from the terminals by disconnecting the electrical connector from the socket. You may need to pry the bulb out, but do so only on the ends to avoid shattering the glass.

Rotate the plastic cover counterclockwise to remove it from the housing.

Start by opening the hood and reaching behind the headlight assembly.

Use a tissue or clean cloth to avoid touching the glass with your fingers. If the glass is accidentally touched, wipe it clean using methylated spirit.

Clip the bulbholder back onto the light unit and clip the trim panel back into place.
