You'll need to reach behind the headlight on the Avalon, turn the bulb holder counterclockwise, pull the bulb out, take the bulb from the holder, and do the opposite when installing. It's simple: lift the trunk lid's taillight access cover, turn the bulb holders counter-clockwise, and pull the bulbs out. Just follow these steps backward to put them back in. To reach the high brake light at the top of the car, first lift the rear shelf, turn the bulb holder counterclockwise until it comes loose, then pull the bulb right out, then put everything back exactly how it was during installation. To repair your instrument cluster lighting, unbolt and take off the instrument cluster, turn the bulb counter-clockwise to detach it, then put it back together in reverse mode. To get the interior light works, start by pulling off the protective cover around it. Then disconnect the electrical contact between the bulb and housing before slowly pulling the bulb free if needed, while installation follows the same steps in reverse order. To fix the license plate light, you push the release clip, move the light housing toward the center, turn it out of its place, loosen the bulb holder until it's counterclockwise, put in your new bulb, then make each step go backward while putting everything back together.
