Disconnect the fuel return jet tube from the clamp on the fuel pressure regulator. Separate the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel filter. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to install a new 0-ring(s) on the fuel pressure regulator. Use a scan tool to activate the fuel pump and check for leaks. If a scan tool is not available, turn the ignition to On and verify there are no fuel leaks. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to install a new O-ring onto the fuel pump pulsator. Tighten the bolts. Use a scan tool to activate the fuel pump and check for leaks. If a scan tool is not available, turn the ignition to On and verify there are no fuel leaks.
