The park/turn signal lights and side marker lights are components of the headlight housing and are located directly behind the housing, although it may be tough to reach. If necessary, it is not very difficult to take off the headlight housing for better access to the bulb. To remove the bulb, first, twist the bulb holder in anti-clockwise direction and pulling the bulb out of it and then pulling the holder also out. Sometimes side marker light is an individual lamp located in the car fender and can be removed only from the bottom. The rear taillight, brake light, turn signal and side marker bulbs are located at the back of car and to take them out, panels in the trunk interior have to be removed. That means bulbs can be removed just by turning the bulb holders anti clockwise. Backup lights located in the trunk lid will involve using a screwdriver to open a cover inside the trunk lid to expose the bulb holder that will be twisted anti-clockwise to be removed. For the center high-mounted stop light, the screw is located at the trunk with the lid open since it requires a hand to reach under the rear package shelf to rotate and for the removal of the bulb holder. These are located in the instrument cluster that involves the replacement of the bulbs by unplugging the instrument cluster. The interior light entails removing the lens by twisting it and then unscrewing the bulb from the terminals, all this while being considerate to the glass because of its fragility. For the license plate light, one has to remove the trunk lid lock cylinder, and thereafter outside trim panel to reveal the license light bezel which is pulled towards the left to be completely removed. Finally for the fog light, the car must be lifted and supported on jackstands, then the splash shield must be disconnected and the bulb holder twisted from the housing before the bulb can be changed.

Open the hood and reach behind the headlight assembly to unplug the electrical connector by depressing the clip on the harness connector. To access the left-side headlight bulbs, remove the battery, then take out the pushpin securing the air intake duct and set the duct aside. Grasp the bulb holder securely and rotate it counterclockwise to remove it from the housing, disconnecting the electrical connector before pulling the holder out. Pull straight out on the bulb to remove it from the bulb holder, and without touching the glass with bare fingers, insert the new bulb assembly into the headlight housing. Finally, plug in the electrical connector.

For installation, plug in the electrical connector that was disconnected earlier to complete the installation of the headlight bulb.

Release the spring clip to remove the bulb holder.

Remove the lower engine splash shield.

Start by opening the hood and reaching behind the headlight assembly.

There are three bulbs in the taillight housing.

Depress the release tab and disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight bulb.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog light bulb holder. 2. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise and remove it from the housing. 3. Pull the bulb straight out to remove it from the bulb holder. 4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

If there is a problem with an LED headlight, the entire headlight assembly must be replaced.
