- Q:How to remove the Air filter housing? Posted by Customer
- A:To remove the engine cover, start by disconnecting the vent hose and vacuum sensing hose. Then, loosen the clamps securing the air intake duct to the air filter housing and throttle body. Pull the air intake duct away from the housing and throttle body. Next, disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector and unclip the air filter cover. Remove the two air filter housing mounting bolts and lift up on the housing. Carefully work the air intake snorkel free from its grommet in the right fender well.
