Take off the negative connection from the battery. Unscrew the big protective clips that hold each side of the control box in place, being careful as these clips can be sharp; using a plastic panel remover helps you detach the front of the panel when you pull the clips, do it gently to avoid hurting yourself. Pull the control a little bit forward to free it. Remove both electrical connections and any cable that's connected. Putting on the A/C Switch follows the same steps in reverse. Start the engine, and check that everything in the heating and A/C Switch functions correctly. Replace the entire assembly if any of the switches or the hazard warning switch breaks. The trim can be taken off from the black control unit and reused when installing a new control piece.
