How to remove and install a Blower Motor and Blower Motor Resistor? Posted by Customer

The blower unit is located in the cooling assembly under the dash, directly below the glovebox. Remove the trim panel below the glovebox. Remove the blower motor connector, then remove the three mounting screws. Lower the blower assembly from the housing. Remove the spring clamp from the fan and separate the fan from the blower motor. Installation is the reverse of removal. The Blower Motor Resistor is located on the blower duct under the dash, directly below the glovebox. Remove the trim panel below the glovebox. Disconnect the Blower Motor Resistor connector and remove the mounting screws. Remove the Blower Motor Resistor from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
