These models are provided with the integration relay which is connected to the ignition switch to control the switch of the key unlock warning system and the anti-theft system. To repair the steering column, begin by disconnecting the cable of the negative terminal of the car battery, with the ignition key in the ACC position, remove the steering column covers. Again, based on the type of repair required, it may be required to disconnect the steering column and the switches on the same steering column and finally, the steering lock actuator assembly. For the transponder coil look for a clip that can be slightly lifted from the ignition switch assembly and pull out the electrical connection, put the transponder coil aside safely. Disconnect the wiring harness of the ignition switch and the key light connector, pull out the lock actuator, remove the switch's retaining screws and then extract the switch from the lock cylinder housing while the process of installment is a reversal of this procedure. For models with no push-button starting, unplug the transponder coil, rotate the key to ON (ACC), then insert a small flathead screwdriver into the hole at the bottom of the locking claw to pry the ignition lock cylinder out until it abuts against the stopper. Pull out the anti-theft mechanism wire connector, then retract the claw and pull out the lock cylinder of the ignition switch; installation is the reverse of removal. Steering lock actuator, to do this you should firstly unbolt the steering column and fix it to a soft-jaw vise, then sketch the center of the tapered-head bolt and drill a hole in the center of this bolt. A screw extractor needs to be employed to unscrew the bolt anti-clockwise to remove it; further the steering lock actuator and the steering column clamp equipped with new sheer bolts should be fixed and closed tightly till the head of sheer bolts shear off.

Using a trim tool, carefully pry the switch panel out from the instrument panel, then disconnect the electrical connector from the engine start switch.
