Toyota 55550-47081-C0 Door Assembly, Glove Compartment

For 2001 through 2003 models, open the glove box door, turn the stoppers a quarter turn, and pull them out, then remove the two screws and lift off the door, with installation being the reverse of removal. For 2004 through 2009 models, open the glove compartment, unclip the check rod using a screwdriver if necessary, push inward on the sides to release it, open the door to a horizontal position, and slide it rearward and out, with installation being the reverse of removal. For 2010 and later models, disengage the retainer and release the check rod at the lower right side, insert a trim tool or a screwdriver wrapped with tape into the upper part of the glove box to pry its rear wall down and out from the instrument panel, tilt the glove box door downward, and pull it rearward to remove it, with installation being the reverse of removal.
