    Q:
    About three years ago a local glass shop replaced the windshield on my 2017 Highlander XLE. Although I specified OEM glass, the glass shop installed a non-OEM windshield. As part of their repair they glued the front camera bracket to the windshield. Eventually the glue came loose. I can't get a clear photo of the OEM glass but it seems to me there is supposed to be some sort of bracket or mounting points built into the OEM windshield for attaching the front camera. If that's the case, then their use of glue to hold the camera in place was an improper procedure. Can you confirm for me whether or not there is any sort of mounting or aligning hardware for the front camera as an integral part of the OEM windshield, Toyota Part No.: 56101-0E242.
