Remove the right driveaxle. Place a container or pan beneath the transaxle to catch the fluid, and then partially unscrew the center driveshaft lock bolt. In particular, preliminary differential side gear shaft seal condition should be verified before the shaft extraction for presence of leakage. Push on the snap-ring and use adjustable jaw pliers to grasp the snapring and then pull it out of the bearing bracket. In a process of loosening the center driveshaft from the bearing bracket, you should employ a large screwdriver or prybar after which you should take out the center driveshaft from the car. Spin the center driveshaft bearing with your fingers; if it is rough or sticky, it should be replaced, and this will require the use of special tools, so consult with a dealer service department or mechanic. Removal is the process that is carried out in the opposite way to installation.
