Relieve the fuel system pressure. Remove the fuel filler cap to relieve fuel tank pressure. Detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Raise the vehicle and securely place it on jackstands. Completely remove the exhaust system from the center exhaust pipe to the rear of the vehicle.
