The second-generation Scion xB was first introduced in Chicago at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show. Compared to previous versions, the new Scion xB was 2.8-inch (71 mm) wider, 12-inch (300 mm) longer, and over 600 pounds (270 kg) heavier. Also, the platform has shifted to Toyota's New MC platform.
