How to remove and replace the front crankshaft seal for the 1992 Toyota Celica?

Take off the timing belt along with the crankshaft pulley. Check to how deep the seal is inserted in the bore and carefully- slowly remove the seal in the oil pump housing using screw driver or seal puller without damaging the crank shaft or seal bore. Do not mar the housing bore or nick the crankshaft because it will result into leaks with the new seal. Shamlessly clean the chamber of the housing, put engine oil or multi-purpose grease on the outer surface of the new seal, also use moly-base grease on the seal edge. Inserting a new socket with an outside diameter slightly less than the seal diameter, pounds in the new seal straight and to the depth as the old one. If a socket is not accessible then a short segment of a pipe of a larger inner diameter can be used. Check the seal to ultimately make sure that the garter spring didn't jump its position after the installation. Replace the crankshaft pulley and the timing belt and start the engine to see whether the end portion of the crankshaft front seal is leaking.
