How to remove the front and rear bumper for the 2015 Toyota Avalon?

First, push the front of the fender-well liner back, place the parking brake, lift the car, and use jackstands to stabilize it. Loosen the battery cable and, if you have fog lights, disconnect the wires at the back of the bumper cover where they plug into the lights. You can slide the grille loose by removing bolts and a retaining clip, then pulling it away carefully while detaching all the mounting clips from their places. Unclip three screws that mount the radiator support cover, and also lower the cover. Disconnect the bumper cover using screws and pushpins. Push the plastic fastener button center-up using a tiny screwdriver blade, but leave the center buttons attached. Unscrew and take out all anchors before starting to take the cover off. Push and turn the two front locking pins 90 degrees, then pull the fender well liner back and undo the bumper cover-to-fender mounting bolt. Use both hands to unbolt the four clips holding the cover on its frontmost attachment points with the fenders. You'll need help to put the new bumper cover on, as you slide the tabs back into body clips, tighten bolts and screws, beginning from the backside. To remove the bumper cover from the back of the car, first detach the plastic pins near the bottom of the cover while working underneath the vehicle, then undo the appropriate screw(s) along the front edge. Also loosen any plastic fenderwell liner, if necessary. Take off the trunk lid. Unplug and take out the wiring for the parking sensors and camera, if they're on your car. Pry the screws out that keep the bumper cover in place on the bottom, and carefully pull back the cover while hitting any unplugged bolts with a plastic hammer from beneath the car. Installation is the reverse of removal.
