Take off the cable from the battery's negative terminal, but before you disconnect, you need to deactivate the anti-theft system's lockout feature on models with an extra security system. Pull the round white piece surrounding the instrument panel. Next, unscrew the four radio holding screws on the panel. Releasing the radio from its bracket, pull it carefully out and remove the antenna wire along with the electrical connector. Carefully take the radio out of its place, and return it the same way when putting it back. Every door has at least one speaker, while four-wheel Drive SUVs also have a speaker hidden in their side panels. Unplugging all speakers starts with removing the door panel first. Unscrew speaker nuts after pulling out the speaker wires and unplugging them from the unit. To get rid of the thin speaker in the door panel, grab the electrical cord and take off the screw holding the speaker, with putting it back working in the opposite order.
