The Throttle Cable of the Toyota Celica connects the accelerator pedal to the throttle plate, allowing the driver to control the airflow to the engine by pressing the pedal. In the early generations of the Celica, the braided metal Throttle Cable connected the pedal and the throttle body through the firewall.
