How to Remove and Refit Car Speakers on a Toyota Echo?

To replace the door speaker, begin by removing the front door trim panel and disconnecting the speaker wiring plug. The door speakers are attached to the inner door panel with three rivets that need to be drilled out using a 4 mm drill bit. After removing the speaker, vacuum any drilling debris from inside the door before reinstalling. When refitting, rivet the speaker back into place; if a rivet gun is unavailable, exercise caution with alternative securing methods, as bolts or self-tapping screws that are too long may interfere with the window or its regulator. For the facia speaker, carefully prise up the speaker cover at the rear and pull it rearwards to release the mounting lugs from under the windscreen. Use a short screwdriver to remove the two speaker mounting screws, then lift the speaker out, disconnect the wiring plug, and remove it. Reinstallation follows the reverse order of removal.
