- Q: How to replace the antenna on Toyota MR2?A:Pull the other end out of the negative terminal of the battery and give a slack to the cable. To relieve the actual old antenna cable and bring in the new one, first, take off the left side kick panel and the instrument panel lower finish panel. Take out the radio and pull out the cable that connects to the back of the radio also. Connect one end wire of the cable to section radio. Take out the two butter imprison stairs for the left side of the roof and disconnect the antenna and cable away from the vehicle. Remove the old cable from the wire, connect the new cable to the wire and rewired them through dash to radio. Disconnect the wire on one end from the new cable and connect the cable to the radio. Next it is install the radio, then install the instrument panel lower finish panel and the left side kick panel. Last, screw in the two antenna flange mounting screws to complete the orison power antenna assembly.
