Drain approximately two-thirds of the fluid from the master cylinder reservoir; then safely elevate the car and place it on jack stands and remove the wheels. if needing machining, take the rotor to also remove the pads from the calipers. According to the sequences of the pad replacement, it is crucial to follow the illustrations and read the captions correspondingly. Next replace the pads with the new ones and ensure that the two bolts of the caliper are tightened as needed then put back the wheels and lower the vehicle. If the fluid inlet was removed from the caliper, then refer to the bleed the brake system procedure to remove all the air. It is recommended to dispose brake fluid that has been in use for a while, refill the master cylinder reservoir with new one and apply pressure on the brakes for few times to allow the brake pads to seat properly onto the rotor.
