Release the spring clip of the Mass Air Flow Sensor electrical connector by prying the spring clips away from the plug and unplugging the electrical connector from the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals, ensuring the resistance values between each pair of Mass Air Flow Sensor terminals meet the specified requirements. If the measurements do not match the specified values, replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Loosen the clamps and remove the duct connecting the Mass Air Flow Sensor to the
Throttle Body. Loosen the Mass Air Flow Sensor bracket-to-body bolt, remove the bracket-to-Mass Air Flow Sensor bolts, and rotate the bracket out of the way. Remove the air filter housing and air filter, followed by the filter housing-to-Mass Air Flow Sensor bolts, and then take out the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
