Depress the accelerator and verify that the throttle cable opens all the way; if it doesn't, adjust the throttle link rod. While an assistant fully depresses the accelerator pedal, loosen the adjustment nuts and adjust the cable housing so that the distance between the end of the boot and the stopper on the cable is within the specified distance. After making the adjustment, tighten the nuts and recheck the adjustment.
