How to remove and install the Cooling Fan Assembly in my Toyota Rav4?

To remove the Cooling Fan Assembly and shroud, start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable. Then, disconnect the electrical connector at the fan motors and release the harness from the clips on the fan shroud. Drain the cooling system and remove the radiator and fan shroud together. Hold the fan blades and remove the fastener(s) securing the fan. Finally, unbolt the fan motor(s) from the shroud. For installation, follow the reverse order, attaching the fan motor(s) to the shroud, securing the fan blades, and installing the radiator and fan shroud assembly. Ensure all connections are properly reconnected and the cooling system is filled.

Q: How to remove and install the Cooling Fan Assembly in my Toyota Rav4?
A:
To remove the Cooling Fan Assembly and shroud, start by disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable. Then, disconnect the electrical connector at the fan motors and release the harness from the clips on the fan shroud. Drain the cooling system and remove the Radiator and fan shroud together. Hold the fan blades and remove the fastener(s) securing the fan. Finally, unbolt the fan motor(s) from the shroud. For installation, follow the reverse order, attaching the fan motor(s) to the shroud, securing the fan blades, and installing the radiator and fan shroud assembly. Ensure all connections are properly reconnected and the cooling system is filled.
