When using a screwdriver to pry trim panels, be sure to tape the tip of the screwdriver to prevent scratching the panels. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the dashboard trim panels and the center floor console. Remove the steering wheel and the 
Steering Column Covers. Remove the instrument cluster and the radio, along with the navigation unit if equipped. Remove the A-pillar trim panels, glove box, and dash cover. Remove the steering column and the heater and air conditioning control panel. Remove the knee bolster and lower insulator cover. Remove the power steering ECU assembly fasteners and disconnect the electrical connectors. Remove the hood latch release cable from the instrument panel. Mark the electrical connectors with masking tape and a marking pen before disconnecting them. Remove all of the fasteners from the ends and middle holding the instrument panel to the body, then lift the panel, pull it away from the windshield, and take it out through the driver's door opening. Installation is the reverse of removal.
