How to replace the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor on Toyota Sequoia and Toyota Tundra?

On V6 models, drain the coolant, remove the intake manifold, detach the electrical connector, and loosen the Coolant Temperature Sensor from the crossover to replace the sensor. For V8 models, remove the throttle body cover and air intake duct, and undo the sensor from the coolant crossover. For all models, install a new sealing washer and fill up the cooling system.
