  A: Inspect windshield wiper and blade assemblies regularly for damage and loose parts. Clean blades often with mild detergent to remove road film. Check and tighten any loose bolts or fasteners during these checks. Replace any cracked, worn or ineffective wiper blades. To replace, lift the arm assembly, press the release lever, and slide out the wiper blade. Use pliers to remove the blade element. Install the new one in reverse order.
