How to Remove and Install a Cooling Fan Assembly in the Cooling System on 2002 through 2008 Toyota Solara?

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Drain the cooling system, then detach the upper radiator hose from the radiator. Disconnect the electrical connector at the fan motor. Remove the two bolts and the air inlet duct. Unbolt the cooling fan assembly/shroud from the radiator and lift it from the vehicle. There are more at the bottom of the shroud. Hold the fan blades and remove the fan retaining nut. Remove the fan from the motor. Unbolt the fan motor from the shroud. Remove the screws and separate the motor from the shroud. Installation is the reverse of removal. Refill the cooling system.
