- Q: How to remove and install Camshaft and Rocker Arm on 1982 through 1986 on Toyota Supra?A:The first step is to take off the components you wish to remove then, take out the negative cable of the battery. For installation they use the camshaft installation grease on the lobes and journals, insert the camshaft into the housings, new O-rings and rear end covers must be installed and the match holes aligned. After that, clean the contact surfaces on the camshaft housing and the cylinder head, and fit a new gasket, and after that torque the nuts and bolts gradually in two passes to the particular torque.
